Prior to founding Q3 the firm’s principals, Adam Quiring and Brad Giaimo, were learning their craft in the best classroom possible - on the floors of the exchanges in Chicago and New York. Both learned the importance of capital preservation and risk control through hands-on experience, working closely with some of the premier money managers in the world. Their vision was to bring those life lessons to the retail investor by offering cutting edge actively managed strategies based on a quantitative, rule-based methodology. From that vision, Q3 was born.
